What is necessary for application and how electronic statements can be viewed?
In order to view PDF files you will have to install
version 5.0. or a later release of Acrobat Reader that can be downloaded
free of charge from the web site of Adobe (www.adobe.com).
If you use Citibank Online services for the first time, you are
requested to complete a registration
where you can create your user name and password.
If you wish to apply for e-statement, please select in the Account information menu the 'e-statement registration' under E-STATEMENTS menu, then follow the instructions. You will receive an e-mail message following successful application and when the statement is prepared.
Let us call your kind attention that CitiBusiness and Citibank Credit Card Holder customers are not requested to confirm their registration as the service is not yet available for credit card holder customers, while CitiBusiness customers will receive a hard copy account statement regardless of the Electronic Statement Service.

For what customer types e-statement service is available?
In case of consumer customers having an account with the Bank the Service is made available to the Account holder (in case of joint account to the so-called Primary Account Holder defined by the Account holders). In case of CitiBusiness customers the Service is available to the Main Cardholders defined by the customer and related to the corporate accounts of the customer. (The so-called Cardholders with maker functions are exceptions.)
How will I know that my e-statement is ready?
We will send you an e-mail message to advise that the statement is available in Citibank Online.
If I register for the e-statement service will I receive a hard copy bank account statement also?
The e-statement is the electronic copy (in PDF format) of the printed bank account statement, thus the content and look of the e-statement and the printed statement are entirely identical. The only difference is that the e-statement is not considered to be an accounting certificate in line with accounting requirements.
Consumer customers will not receive hard copy bank account statement following their registration for the service. However, CitiBusiness customers will continue to receive hard copy statements after registration for the e-statement service.
