Citibank Alerts for Bank Accounts
In the easiest way possible you can be notified for the activity to your bank account and always know:
- Your account balance
- Deposits and withdrawals to your Citibank account
- If your salary has been credited
- If your account has been charged with amounts exceeding €300
- If you have made use of your overdraft
- If the execution of a payment by standing order has failed
This service will be provided for free up to 30th of April 2009.

In order to register for the Citibank Alerts service for Bank Accounts you need:
- Your Citicard number
- Your mobile phone number
- Your e-mail address
- The numbers of the current or savings accounts you wish to use the service for
- The currency of your accounts
Citibank Alerts for Credit cards
Get instant notification for your credit cards every time:
- You make a purchase with your card
(either you or the add-on card holder)
- Your statement is issued notifying you of your payment due
- The date of settlement for your account is approaching
- You are close to reaching 80% of your credit limit
- Your credit limit has being increased
This service will be provided free up to 31st of December 2008.
So, in conjunction with the Fraud Early Warning System that is already available, cases of unauthorized use of your card are limited even further, so that you may feel even safer.
