Citibank Greece’s Securities & Fund Services, Global Transaction Services ranked 1st in clearing and settlement of transactions for the Athens Stock Exchange in the 1st semester 2011.

According to official data of Hellenic Exchanges SA, Citibank Greece’s Securities & Fund Services (SFS) Global Transaction Services ranked 1st in clearing and settlement of transactions in the Athens Stock Exchange during the 1st semester 2011.
More specifically, Citibank Greece ranked 1st in both categories, clearing 15,58% and settling 27,58% of total transactions (further details at http://www.ase.gr/content/gr/ann.asp?AnnID=131270).
It should be noted that Citibank Greece’s SFS, GTS has ranked first in clearing and settlement of transactions in the Athens Stock Exchange ever since the 4th Quarter of 2010 (27th September) when the specific statistics were issued for the first time following the introduction of Clearing Members in the equities market. SFS, Citibank Greece also ranked first for the 1st quarter of 2011, clearing 15,17% and settling 27,13% of total transactions.
