Citibank Greece Names Grant Carson Head of Consumer Business.

Following Citibank Greece’s new Consumer banking strategy, Citi announces Mr. Grant Carson as the new Head of Consumer Business for Greece, effective June 2011.
Mr. Carson has significant experience in international banking, having held various senior roles in Citi worldwide for 13 years.
”I am certain that under Grant Carson’s leadership, Citibank’s Consumer banking will further build on its activities, facing the current challenging economic environment with success”, said Greece Citi Country Officer, Mr. Chris Vassiliades.

From 2007 until today, Mr. Carson has been the Business Head of Citi’s International Personal Banking EMEA business, which he has successfully restructured and repositioned as a substantial contributor to Citi’s EMEA Consumer wealth management strategy. He joined Citi in 1998 in the Emerging Local Corporates / Asset Based Finance division in South Africa, worked from London as Business Development Manager in International Personal Banking EMEA, and then Head of International Business Development for Citi Australia.
