Petrol and heating oil bills with the new Shell Citibank MasterCard.

With the heating oil distribution period licking off, consumers will have the opportunity to benefit from the 3% discount in purchasing fuel from Shell gas stations through Shell Citibank MasterCard. The new card, a first for the Hellenic market, allows consumers to tap into better prices for gas and heating oil.

This is the first time in Greece that these two leading brands - Shell and Citi - have linked up, and the cooperation aims to reward those who trust Shell for their fuel supplies with a real profit in the transactions combined with the benefits that only Citibank, as the largest card issuer in the world, can offer.

More specifically, according to the Reward Scheme of Shell Citibank MasterCard, for every fuel and heating oil purchase from Shell gas stations, the cardholder can get 3% cash back, as well as 1% cash back from all other purchases in Shell gas stations. Moreover, cardholders get 1% cash back from all other purchases they do with their Shell Citibank MasterCard. The cash back will be made by an immediate deduction of the amount from the next card statement, as soon as there is a fuel purchase at a Shell gas station. The maximum amount that can be deducted on a yearly basis is 360 Euros.
