Citibank: The bank with the best working environment in Greece.
Athens, March 22, 2007.
Citibank is awarded for the 3rd consecutive year the Bank with the Best Working Environment in Greece, by taking the 14th place among 20 Greek and multinational companies which were distinguished in the BEST WORKPLACES 2007 Competition. Chris Vassiliades, Business Manager, Citibank Consumer Greece and Division Executive for Citibank Middle East and Africa, accepted the award on behalf of Citibank during a ceremony that took place in the Athens Hilton on Thursday 15th March.
Participants’ ranking in the Competition was based on five major criteria: Reliability, Respect, Justice, Pride and Companionship. Mr. Chris Vassiliades commented on this honorary award: "Our distinction for the 3rd consecutive time pleases us, because it shows that respect of personality, personal professional growth and ‘open’ communication are main characteristics of our Bank". He also stressed that:
"this distinction will not make us relax, but on the contrary,
it will make us move forward! For us in Citibank, the large
increases in staff during 2006, as a result of our dynamic growth, has made the value of a common identity more evident. In this era of intense competition and high quality services and products, we believe that a balanced working environment is the most essential element of success for a company. This is why we will continue to offer significant advantages to Citibank employees and stand by them in their every need".
