Citibank cuts further mortgage rates and application times.

Athens, November 15,2005

For the last couple of years Citibank has offered to Greek consumers some ofthe lowest interest rates on mortgage loans in the market. Today, the bank further demonstrates its determination to deliver to customers the products they want and need by decreasing further the rates on its mortgage loans, while at the same time providing new, more flexible and faster loan application procedures.

Specifically, Citibank offers the following rates starting November 15, 2005:

2,90% FIXED interest rate for one year (no change)

3,90% FIXED interest rate for 3 years (decreased by 1%)

4,20% FIXED interest rate for 5 years (decreased by 0,70%)

4,50% FIXED interest rate for 10 years (new category)

4,70% FIXED interest rate for 15 years (decreased by 0,60%)

5,10% FIXED interest rate for 20 years (new category)

5,50% FIXED interest rate for 25 years (new category)

In addition, the variable interest rate linked to Euribor, is formed as follows:

For amounts up to € 120.000, 6 month Euribor + 1.25% spread, i.e. 3,47%
For amounts more than € 120.000, 6month Euribor + 1,00% spread, i.e. 3,22%

Citibank also announces that from 15/11/05 the bank offers to its customers, an initial approval over the phone in 20 minutes at 801 11 801801, and disbursement in 15 days.

Mrs. Christina Lampropoulou, Citibank Retail Banking Director, stated “Citibank, reacting to the great demand for mortgage loans, which is observed nowadays, took a quick decision to offer even lower rates in the market. The last few years we have offered the most competitive mortgage loans in the market and this new rate decrease confirms our commitment to satisfy our customers”.
