Cards Senior Financial Analyst (FA08)

The Cards Senior Financial Analyst is responsible to ensure integrity of Cards financial data in accordance with the organisation’s requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for all financial reporting and forecasting in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Surface and distil to the Unit head the key financial issues, identifying Opportunities and Risks.
• Provide the necessary financial information and analysis for reviewing the business status enabling management decisions.
  
• Develop Profitability Models to measure and analyze the financial performance of the existing business and new projects.
• Undertake various projects as assigned by the Cards Business Heads.
• Provide financial support and guidance to the various Cards Business Units for the execution of their tasks and projects.
  
• Provide financial support and guidance to other departments of the bank for the execution of their Cards related tasks and projects.
  
• Participate as Fin Con representative in any new product/ project development.

Required Skills:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis preferably in Credit Cards / Banking.
  
• ACCA certification or Accounting knowledge/background will be considered as a plus.
  
• University degree and post-graduate studies in Finance, Economics or relevant fields from Greek or foreign universities.
  
• Very good knowledge of the English language.
  
• Advanced computer skills (working knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) including database management
  
• Combination of powerful analytical skills and business understanding
  
• Strong communication and negotiation skills (including Presentation skills)
  
• Time management
  
• Understanding of financial models, sales oriented, entrepreneurship, initiative, innovation
  
• Military obligations fulfilled (where applicable).
