And this is because with the ‘Super Cash’ program, for every €50 of transactions you actualize with your credit card at ALL super markets, you earn €1 discount.

Participation Terms
1. The program is valid only for transactions that will be actualized from March15th, 2008 at all super market companies cooperating with Citibank Intl plc, by the following credit cardholders: Citibank Visa, Gold Citibank Visa, Platinum Citibank Visa, Citibank MasterCard and Gold Citibank MasterCard.
2. The program does not include purchases at companies other than super markets, previous purchases, installments from previous purchases, Card Cash transactions, transfer of debit balances, cash withdrawals, any kind of interests, loans paid off through your card, contributions and arrears expenses and debits on overdue amounts from previous monthly statements of Your Card’s accounts.
3. Initially, you will get a 1 Euro rebate on your purchases from the supermarket through the use of your Card for purchases from 0.01 Euro to 50 Euro. For all other expenses (other than the first 50.00 Euro) the cardholder will receive a rebate or benefit equal to 1 Euro for every 50.00 Euro of transactions thereafter.
4. The maximum cash rebate that may be granted to the cardholder is 20.00 Euro. This amount may be achieved through transactions at super markets summing 1,000 Euro.
5. The amount of the rebate shall be automatically credited to the statement of your account following the one showing your debits at the super market and will be subtracted from the balance of your account every time.
6. Should your Card be cancelled during the program for any reason in accordance with the general terms and conditions of issuing the Citibank Card, the cardholder then is no longer eligible for the offer.
7. Citibank reserves the right to change the terms and duration of the program or to recall them, should a serious reason arise.
8. The rebate plan shall cease to be valid if the cardholder is in arrears with payments.
