Now, you too can actively participate by making a monthly contribution in any amount you may wish, through your card.
All children need care and love, but some of them even more so.
During 2009, through the "I Care" program, each time you made a purchase using Citibank Visa and Citibank MasterCard, regardless of the amount, Citibank offered, at no extra cost to you, €0.05 to ELPIDA and ELEPAP organizations. Therefore, in December 2009, Citibank donated €493.000 to both organizations.
In 2010, Citibank will still be carrying out this donation program. This year, however, you too are given the opportunity of participating dynamically in the "I Care" program by making a monthly contribution in any amount you may wish (minimum €1 per month), through a direct debit to your card.
In order to participate in the "I Care" program, please call 211 211 6556.
Once again this year, together, we can all make every minor donation into a major one, so long as we really care.

ELPIDA organization provides any kind of aid to children suffering from cancer.
ELEPAP - Hellenic Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Handicapped Children - provides healthcare and social rehabilitation services to physically challenged children.

ELEPAP Society, during a discreet ceremony, held on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011, at the premises of its Center in Pangrati, honored Citibank Greece with the distinction of "Great Benefactor".
Since 2009, Citibank has supported, with approximately €130,000 a year through the “I Care” program, ELEPAP’s Therapeutic Swimming Program. The Therapeutic Swimming Program implements the Halliwick Concept, an innovative method for training children with motor disabilities and developmental disorders, thus sending a message about the possibility of a holistic approach of the children through the aquatic environment. A total of approximately 250 children have benefited from the program during these three years. In 2010, Citibank expanded the “I Care” program, by giving the opportunity of a voluntary participation to Citibank Visa and Citibank MasterCard cardholders, who supported and continue supporting the work of the Bank. To date, the amount of €23,000 has been collected thanks to the kind gesture of Citibank cardholders!
The event was attended by Mr. Grant Carson, Citi Country Officer, and Citi Greece representatives, as well as many dedicated friends and donors of ELEPAP, who had the pleasure of watching the children in the swimming pool, during the Therapeutic Swimming Program.
