Immediate Notification Service in case of Fraud
Citibank, and the Immediate Notification Service in case of Fraud, minimizes the fraud possibilities, since it gives you a confirmation call when it traces an unusual transaction on your card.
Suspicious transactions are recorded and studied by the department in charge at the bank. If you have made similar transactions in the past, then the recorded ones are no longer considered suspicious.
If, however, this is the first time that your consumer activity is such, then the bank will contact you to confirm your card’s activity. In case your card has been used by someone else, it will be blocked instantly in order to protect you from further transactions at your expense.
