Repatriation of Capital

Since August 4, 2004 the repatriation of capital to Greece from abroad can take place under favourable terms. Those who would like to take advantage of this should do so before June 4, 2005.

According to law, individuals or companies transferring funds from overseas are liable to pay a tax of only 3% of the amount transferred. There will be no other tax surcharges. All banks are obligated to maintain the anonymity of any interested party.

If you have money abroad and have decided to transfer it to Greece, Citibank can become your most trustworthy partner.

Our technical know-how and investment tools allow us to provide you with independent, unbiased investment advice and offer you access to the products of some of the world’s largest investment firms, such as Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, Merril Lynch, Schroder, Invesco, MFS and , of course, Citigroup Asset Management.

Keeping your money in Greece offers you tighter control, especially if you choose to do so through your Citibank personal investment consultant.

Take advantage of our CitiGold Wealth Management’s high level of service and allow us to help you not only manage your capital but also increase its value.
