Citibank N.A. El Salvador offers different options of checking or demand deposit accounts, based on our customers needs.  The different options are :

• DDA in US Dollars: DDA is designed so that you can easily manage your liquidity, since you can easily make your local payments, by writting a  check or by using our electronic banking payment products, and receive local and foreign deposits.  Every month Citibank, N.A. El Salvador will send you an account statement detailing your monthly transactions.

• DDA Efectiva in US Dollar: DDA Efectiva allows you to have access to all the benefits of a DDA in US Dollars and plus allowing you to earn interest on your daily balances.

• U.S. dollar Saving Accounts : The local and U.S. dollar saving accounts pay interest based on the balances maintained.  These accounts don't have the ability to write checks as the DDA accounts.  Through your savings account you will be able to send and receive international funds transfers.
