It is a full commercial service bank with a well-defined emphasis on providing facilities and services to the public and private sector corporations, airlines, and embassies pension funds and non-governmental organisations.

Citibank's commitment to the community is mirrored in Tanzania through staff participation in the annual Terry Fox Run event. Citibank is one of the main sponsor of this annual charity event in aid of cancer research.
