Accurate and current Account data is essential for creating reports. In order to have the most current transaction information available for your Global Vision system, you must download it from the Diners Club server.

Downloading Global Vision Data
To download your transaction data, you must be able to dial in to the Diners Club server, and have a valid password, supplied by Diners Club during Global Vision installation.

You can receive the Diners Club data for your organization on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. You can also receive it according to billing cycle, or by the last billing day of the month. You should consult with your Business Service Representative to select a download schedule that suits your needs.

Downloading Data from the Server
The Diners Club server provides your organization with the latest available data. The download process enables you to access it. Downloading consists of four steps:
- Log in to the server
To log in, you will need to have Global Vision installed on your desktop computer, a modem, and a valid password (supplied by Diners Club).

- Select files to download
Once logged in, you may select files comprising several months of billing data. More than one file can be selected. They will be downloaded in the order you choose.

- Confirm the selections and begin the download
As files are downloaded, a File Transfer list will display the status of each file.

- Disconnect from the server
Once all files are downloaded, you simply disconnect from the server with the click of a button.
