Diners Club Group Event System (GES) is an effective Card-based payment program that your organization can use to gain tighter control over T&E spending associated with group events. Your organization's Meeting Planners are issued a GES Card or Cards which they can use to pay for the
many charges related to seminars, meetings, trade shows, and other group events-air travel, car or van rental, lodging, meals, catering, banquet hall use and more.

The value of GES is substantial in that it captures and consolidates data related to a category of organization spending that often is excluded from T&E reporting. Typically, such expenditures are billed through direct invoice and paid through an Accounts Payable process that does not tie back to travel budgeting and analysis efforts.

Using GES allows you to leverage the flexible, user-friendly data analysis
tools available with other Diners Club programs, giving you insight into
where and how your event budget is spent, unifying this data to gain a
complete picture of T&E spending overall, and providing invaluable information
for strategic planning and vendor negotiations.

While GES enables you to include meeting expenses in a complete T&E data
analysis, it also enables you separate GES charges from other T&E charges.
Since large expenditures related to one-time events can sometimes skew
the results of your spending reports, the accuracy of your overall T&E
reporting is preserved through this functionality.

Billing Options
You can structure your GES program so that your organization receives one bill per event, per Meeting Planner, or per expense category. All GES Accounts are centrally billed, offering a high degree of control over travel budget and policy,
and providing your organization with maximum cash management opportunities.

Implementation
Once your organization initiates a GES program, Diners Club will work
with you to bring your program to full operation through an organized
implementation process. We'll also advise you on the optional enhancements
that are appropriate for your organization, and help you communicate important
details about GES to your Meeting Planners, your travel agency, and other
colleagues and partners.

Ongoing Management
An active GES program requires attentive day-to-day management. Diners
Club provides tools and support to streamline processes, facilitate communication,
analyze data, and keep your Account current.

Support
All Meeting Planners - from those with an event every week, to just a few
each year - can count on ongoing support from Diners Club. Our Representatives
will work to anticipate and respond to Meeting Planners' day-to-day needs,
and also are available for consultation. We'll work together to ensure
smooth daily operations so that you and your staff can use time more
