Your organization's Meeting Planners are issued a GES Card or Cards which they can use to pay for the many charges related to seminars, meetings, trade shows, and other group events-air travel, car or van rental, lodging, meals, catering, banquet hall use and more. The value of GES is substantial in that it captures and consolidates data related to a category of organization spending that often is excluded from T&E reporting. Typically, such expenditures are billed through direct invoice and paid through an Accounts Payable process that does not tie back to travel budgeting and analysis efforts. Using GES allows you to leverage the flexible, user-friendly data analysis tools available with other Diners Club programs, giving you insight into where and how your event budget is spent, unifying this data to gain a complete picture of T&E spending overall, and providing invaluable information for strategic planning and vendor negotiations. While GES enables you to include meeting expenses in a complete T&E data analysis, it also enables you separate GES charges from other T&E charges.
