The electronic statement is a PDF document that is identical to the paper statement provided for your current or card account. When printed, it is fully equivalent to a paper statement.
You can choose from two options:
eStatement received in Citibank Online banking.
eStatement sent by e-mail and simultaneously available via online banking.
What other advantages do eStatements provide?
eStatements are accessible at any time and from anywhere via your online banking or your e-mail.
eStatements are secure. A unique password must be entered to access online banking; account statements sent to your e-mail are protected with a security code.
eStatements cannot fall into someone else's hands, which is a risk with a paper statement.
The structure of the eStatement is the same as that of a paper statement.
eStatements cover your bank accounts, loan accounts, and credit cards.
What do you need to be able to use this service?
You needn't install anything on your computer to use this service. You will only need:
An e-mail address to which we can send you either the eStatement or a notification that you have a new eStatement ready in online banking.
A mobile phone if you decide not set up your own code in Citibank Online to open the document sent by e-mail.
A program for reading PDF documents, for example Adobe Reader 8.0 or higher.
When a new statement is ready in Citibank Online banking, you'll receive email notification to the address you provided when signing up for the eStatement service. With the eStatement by e-mail option, you receive your statement directly as an attachment to the e-mail sent.
Your eStatement or the notification of a generated statement will be sent from the address email@example.com . We recommend adding this address to the list of approved addresses in your e-mail address book.
An eStatement is fully equivalent to a paper statement. It is in fact an exact electronic copy of your paper statement. So, if you choose to receive eStatements, you will not receive paper statements from us.
First of all, make sure you have a valid e-mail address registered with Citibank. You may check this address or change it at any time in the settings of the eStatement service (menu “Account Information” -> “eStatements” -> “Change Registration”.)
If the address is correct, check if the statement is in a different e-mail folder than you might expect. For example, in your spam, trash, deleted mails, etc. This may be caused by the filtering settings in your e-mail.
To prevent this from happening, we recommend adding firstname.lastname@example.org to the list of approved addresses in your e-mail address book.”

Note that your eStatements are always also available in Citibank Online banking.
If you would like to change the e-mail address, simply call the CitiPhone customer line or change the address directly in Citibank Online. All you have to do is click on Change eStatement Registration in the "Account Info" / "eStatement" section. Clicking the Change E-mail Address link takes you to a page where you can enter your new e-mail address. Continue by clicking the Next button and on the next screen, confirm the change by clicking Change E-mail Address.
The solution depends on what method you chose for selecting your E-PIN.
a) If you registered for the eStatement service via Citibank Online banking and set your own password, you can change it there at any time. Previous statements will still be protected by the original password. Statements can also be displayed and downloaded directly in online banking.
b) If you applied through other channels, the E-PIN consists of your telephone number and the day and month of your birth
