Add the Internet address where you log in to Citibank Online to your favourites. It is even faster to set this site as your home page, i.e., the page that opens immediately after you launch your browser.
There are many factors influencing the speed of the Citibank Online application. These include a slow modem, overloaded network, or problems at your Internet service provider. In addition, Citibank Online uses the most advanced 128-bit encryption to heighten the security of all input data. This encryption, however, significantly increases the volume of transferred data, which can slow the application down.
Once a transaction has been accepted by the system, it cannot be cancelled. If, however, you are entering an instruction for future processing (like a standing order, a direct debit order or approval, or a SIPO payment), you may change, cancel, or suspend it at any time. If you make a mistake when entering the order and need to cancel the payment, contact the CitiPhone line.
This transaction must be entered as a foreign payment. Domestic payments are used only for the transfer of CZK between banks registered in the Czech Republic. Czech banks include the Czech branches of a foreign bank. Foreign currency payments are all payments made in a foreign currency (sent to a bank in the Czech Republic or abroad) as well as payments in CZK that are sent abroad.
The transaction will be irrevocably accepted by the system immediately after it was entered and confirmed, and the funds from the account will be also withdrawn immediately. If the transaction is entered before "close of business" for the appropriate transfer, it will be sent to the clearing department of the Czech National Bank for processing immediately after the "close of business". If the transaction is made after the "close of business", it is sent for processing with the next batch, i.e., on the next business day.
