| This new payment technology has already been proven worldwide. Compared to cash payments, contactless transactions are a much faster, more convenient, and more secure way to pay. A contactless payment takes only a few seconds and is especially suitable for purchases of up to CZK 500. |

| Citi credit card holders can take advantage of this technology using either their own card or a Citi contactless sticker. Simply place the contactless payment card or sticker near the reader, which is able to scan your data without any contact. The transaction is complete in a matter of seconds. |

Where contactless payments can be made

For example, you can now make contactless payments at:
selected Globus supermarkets, Mangaloo Fresh Bar, Pekařství Paul, the restaurant Kyvadlo, O2 Café,
Interspar/Spar ČOS, selected C&A shops, Baumax, Cinema City, Prague Kaufland stores.

For transactions that do not exceed CZK 500, the customer must only wave the payment card without entering their PIN code.
Transactions exceeding CZK 500 require PIN authorization or the cardholder’s signature.
For security purposes, contactless payment terminals may randomly require customers to authorize transactions below CZK 500 with their signature or PIN code.
- The vendor enters the amount of the transaction and the payment terminal displays the amount the customer is to pay.
- The customer waves their payment card or sticker in front of the contactless reader. The terminal then confirms both visually and with an audio signal that the card has been read.
 
- The transaction is complete.

Citi contactless payment stickers
Contactless payments can also be made using Citi contactless stickers.
 
These special stickers with a built-in payment technology can be affixed to any object you regularly carry with you (for example, the rear cover of your mobile phone).
How to obtain Citi contactless payment stickers
Citi contactless stickers are issued upon request as a supplementary card for any Citi MasterCard credit card. Simply call the CitiPhone line at 233 062 222.
