      Partnering to Power a Nation: Helping Bring Health and Electricity to Ghana

      Ghana has one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, yet only 172 hospitals serve its 25 million people. To address this, the Government of Ghana devised a plan: build new hospitals and bring electricity to over 500 towns across the country. Citi worked with government leaders and export credit agencies to provide long-term financing for these projects. The result is better health care, more jobs and an increased standard of living for the Ghanaian people.

Streetline, Inc. has an innovative solution: technology that locates available spaces with a free app. Citi partnered with Streetline, creating a cash infusion to reduce up-front costs for Los Angeles to adopt it. Now, Streetline is expanding to cities around the globe.
