Tina Fordham is Managing Director and Chief Global Political Analyst at Citi, the first to hold this role in the financial services industry. With Citi since 2003, Fordham advises institutional investors and corporations, typically at the C-suite level, about the implications of macro global political developments.
She has been named to the "Top 100 Most Influential Women in Finance" and the "Top 19 Economists on Wall Street." Ms. Fordham is a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council for Geopolitical Risk, Senior Research Fellow at the Graduate Centre for Risk Management, King's College, London, a fellow of the Aspen Institute's Socrates Society, and member of Chatham House. In addition to her responsibilities within Citi Research, she is a member of the Corporate and Investment Bank's Diversity Board as well as contributor to Citi Roots "Inspire and Lead."
Previously she served as Senior Adviser in the U.K. Prime Minister's Strategy Unit and was Director of Global Political Risk at the international consultancy Eurasia Group, where she founded the company's financial markets research business. Ms. Fordham has a master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
