Citibank® Banking Card The Citibank Banking Card is the plastic card issued to customers who have access to ABMs and Direct Payment (POS). The Citibank Banking Card was formerly known as the CitiCard.
Citibank Banking Card Number The Citibank Banking Card Number is generated for all customers signing up for any of the following services: ABM/POS, Citibank Online and/or Telephone Banking service. The number is referred to as your Client Identification Number.
Client Identification Number - CIN Client Identification Number is the term used to describe the unique number assigned to you. This number allows you access to your accounts. If accessing your accounts through:

Citibank Online
The Client Identification Number is the number embossed on the face of your Citibank Banking Card or the number communicated in your Welcome Package.

Telephone Banking
The Client Identification Number for telephone banking is the last 9 numbers embossed on the face of your Citibank Banking Card or the number communicated in your Welcome Package.
Direct Deposit You can arrange with your employer, government agency or other participant to directly deposit your pay cheque or other income to your Citibank account. The funds will be deposited to your account electronically.
Direct Payment Instead of using cash or credit card, you can pay for purchases directly from your bank account using Direct Payment. Swipe your debit card at a merchant terminal, enter your personal identification number (PIN), select either "chequing" or "savings" button to access the account you wish to make the payment from.
EFT Electronic Funds Transfer
Personal Access Code - PAC A Personal Access code is required as a companion to the Client Identification Number when accessing Citibank Online.
Personal Identification Number - PIN A Personal Identification Number is required when using your Citibank Banking Card to bank at an ABM and/or conduct a Direct Payment purchase.
Point of Sale - POS This method of payment is also known as Direct Payment. Customers use their Citibank Banking Card at merchants with debit terminals to pay for purchases. The payment is withdrawn electronically from the bank account.
Telephone Access Code - TAC The four-digit code required for you to access the automated telephone banking system.
Wire Transfer An electronic form of transferring money from one individual to another. Funds are usually available for the recipient within a couple of business days.
